Channel Development Manager – Modern Trade
 
Location: Bangalore
 
Salary: Depending upon current CTC. 
 
REPORTEES : KAMs , Relationship Managers & Operation executives
REPORTING – HEAD – Consumer channel development
SPAN OF CONTROL – pan India ; Corporate profile

Key Result Areas
Devise and plan the long-term agenda for the modern trade channel  
Forecast and drive Modern Trade sales pan India
Drive various channel KPIs with each retailer/partner
Manage effective relationships with key buyers/partners 
Scout for business development opportunities in new counters / partners/ product category
Design and implement consumer promotions/schemes/customized product ranges etc.
Drive development of regional teams in modern trade through assessment and execution of training programs planned
Design and implement incentive plans for regional sales teams in modern trade 
Provide support to merchandizing team in devising merchandising plans for each counter

Other Responsibilities
Ensure reconciled accounts with all the Partners
Meet monthly target of Collections
Define and drive Order Delivery SLA
Ensure execution of VM guidelines across counters
 
Experience    
4-11 years in modern trade and general trade, in both account management and sales-operations.
Minimum 2 years of MODERN TRADE exposure mandatory , anywhere within the career span.
Candidates willing to relocate from other metros as welcome.
